Resistance Embodied

I have made a protest garment, one that supports the body in acts of resistance. Specifically, for KSA students protesting the price of pints at the SU. The garment explores bodily autonomy – choosing to connect, restrain, and position your body for what you believe in. Rope is integrated into the fabric creating a drawstring mechanism, people can either be stretched out to create a wide obstruction or cinched to create a dense barrier.
