Recrafted value

This project explores the transformation of a low-value material into something perceived as high value. By turning a consumable product such as pasta into both functional and decorative forms, extending its purpose beyond consumption, increasing its longevity and perceived value. The project challenges ideas surrounding material worth and investigates how context, presentation and function can influence the way everyday objects and materials are understood and valued.
