“Functional”?

This project explores and critiques how we can view objects as practical or decorative and criticising why there is a gendered perception of objects. I wanted to create a world where this view is exaggerated and made ridiculous, so I chose a dolls house – an idealised domestic space where function is just a performance and the viewer can easily see the absurdity of this perception.
