‘Look at Me’ is based on chameleons. I designed a lamp that was both functional and sculptural. Experiencing the shapes of the tropical plants, at the Barbican Conservatory, is where my geometric design came from. My base is made in the forge. I used the chameleon’s tail and their incredible balance as inspiration. The 360 vision, is also represented through the metal twists. I believe my lamp both physically and metaphorically celebrates chameleons.
