Design to Explain Dyslexia
Rhys Griffiths
Stems is an interactive, modular educational game exploring the visualisation of dyslexia through visual stress. Using a slot-together typeface, it recreates aspects of dyslexic reading experiences to shift perspectives and challenge stigma. Accompanying the game is a publication based on primary research into dyslexia and its social perception. The model encourages audiences to engage with language from multiple perspectives.
