I have been exploring the division between social and gender performance and ‘true self’, bluring the line between artistic and identity performance but with an essential embrace of silliness to better understand myself. My final piece is a three-act performance and installation which turns my performative existence into the motions of a play: preparation (a toxically masculine motivational speech), performance (an absurd Shakespearean monologue), and after-party (a happening involving audience)
