Sonder through Distortion

My final piece is a boxy top designed to represent sonder through three stages within perspective, first perspective of placing people into “boxes,” with pintucks symbolising the collective flow of people inspired by the movement of commuters within a crowd. Alongside this, I made a skirt with both clean slashing and distressed slashing to represent a shift in perspective, showing the complexity of individuality through layers and distortion.
