Finding the value and relevance of folklore in contemporary English society. I have investigated its impact through changing oral culture, sense of place identity,tourism, story re-interpretations, artefacts, illustrations, music and special occasions. My final outcome focuses on the recurring theme of bringing people together through May Day.
