I’m exploring how brief 10-minute rituals act as escapes from everyday life. Smoking, making tea, and scrolling on a phone can become addictive, meditative moments through repetitive actions like stirring, tapping, and inhaling/exhaling. I’ve also looked at comforting objects such as blankets and hot water bottles, aiming to combine ritualistic behaviour with physical comfort and emotional escape.
