Constantly Built Over

This project explores London as a city continuously rebuilt through historical events, collective human behaviour and shifting systems. Using carved stone, builders sand and a museum inspired companion sheet, I focused on what remains physically embedded within the city. Through carved language, texture rubbings and art direction, the outcomes communicate layered histories, permanence and the traces left behind through movement and rebuilding.
