Natural Freedom

Taking inspiration from a map route I explored, it became the body design of my garment. I investigated natural materials surrounding children outside of manmade playgrounds and translated them into my own soil buttons and grassy pockets with a sensory play of wood chips dangling on one side. Also featuring the route stitched on with embroidery thread, guiding the path and then continuing freely around the dress.
