Cartography Distorts

My project is an exploration in pattern cutting, through the lens of cartography. I have derived techniques from this and applied them to a classic shirt and trousers, using cartography as a tool to distort. The distortions created reimagine classic shapes and conventions, and make us rethink how we use traditional lenses to view the world
