Playfinding

My film explores bringing play into environments that lack it. As the “Play Conductor,” I used uniforms, playfinding symbols and language to encourage togetherness and reconnect adults with play. Play helps children’s social and emotional skills and open thinking. Adults often lose it due to embarrassment and seeing it as childish. I wanted to explore breaking this barrier. Throughout the filming process, I had to let go of my inhibitions. It felt awkward at first, but I embraced being silly!
